Today Ryan's friend dropped off his 3 year old twin girls at my door for my to love and spoil. Not having children of my own I always look for opportunities to love and spoil someone else's children. We took them to The Living Planet Aquarium today. What a blessing it is to see the wonder in children's eyes. Even in the adults the wonder was there. How great it is to see the wonders of the sea here in this landlocked state.
I am grateful for movies. When was the last time you really thought about the movies and what it takes to bring them to you? What a blessing it is to sit down and watch a movie after a long day.
I am grateful for the simple joy that a happy meal brings to a child. Who could ever have guessed that chicken nuggets, fries, and apple slices with a juice box all packaged in a red box could bring such a big smile to a child's face. Love that McDonald's still.
I am thankful for music boxes and how they are so simple in nature and so beautiful in looks and design. I collect music boxes. They have always brought me joy as well as those around me who take the time to enjoy them.
I am thankful for dvd players and the hours of music and movie enjoyment that I have enjoyed from it.
